It’s not about Perfect

It’s not about perfect, it’s about effort. Things don’t happen in a blink. They take time. so you either choose to put in a piece of work every single day and be the best you, you can be. Or you could just give up to the frustration of “nothing ever happens” and sit on the bench.

Nothing comes easy in life, being patient and constant is part of working hard. You’re meant to be hurting, you’re meant to be struggling, you’re meant to feel lost at times. Because this is the only way you grow tougher, you grow stronger, this the only way you learn to do life right.

Because I assure you, *self*, nothing WILL neverΒ happen with you sobbing on a sofa.

Get up. Do the work.

  1. Nothing and no one is perfect…. And because we are imperfect we combine….. Things happen as and when they are meant to…. Our work as you say is to go out instead of crying on sofa…

Hey like that but if we are not on sofa can we cry a bit more longer πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜‡

  2. As you know…I blogged about this quote as well. It’s such a powerful message from our girl Jillian. She really has a way doesn’t she?
You are 100% right..nothing will change by lying on the sofa sobbing. In my opinion it’s ok to have a good ugly cry at our situations…but you have to get up and try again. The alternative is something no one should settle for. πŸ™‚

    1. Can I take your comment and wrap in in gift wrap? xD yep I read your post! She does have a way with words. Especially when I’m struggling to catch my breath in the middle of a workout haha. I agree. Thank you so much for taking time to read and comment! 😊
